The Enterprise Architect license includes a 12-month subscription with updates and support. When the Sparx EA license expires, it can be renewed to continue accessing the latest features. To renew, each expired license must be renewed at the applicable edition’s renewal rate.

Important Renewal Information
- If your Sparx Systems Enterprise Architect subscription lapses, you can still reinstate it within 2 years by paying the renewal fee for your license type, granting access to the latest version of Enterprise Architect.
- Renewal applies to the originally purchased licenses. Any additional licenses must be bought separately at the standard edition price.
- Without renewal, you’ll lose access to the downloadable version from the Sparx Systems website. To avoid issues, we recommend backing up your installation file for future reinstallation.
How to upgrade an Enterprise Architect License?
You can upgrade your Sparx EA edition (e.g., from Corporate to Unified or Ultimate) at any time by paying the price difference between your current and desired edition. A processing fee applies.
If your Enterprise Architect license has expired, you must renew it first before upgrading.
