When your initial 12-month maintenance contract expires, you will no longer have access to the latest updates, builds, and registered user resources. However, you can still continue using Enterprise Architect without restrictions. To regain access to the latest builds and ongoing support, you’ll need to renew your maintenance contract.
By extending your contract, you will receive 12 more months of access to the registered user area on our website. The renewal fee is determined by the number of licenses purchased, and your access data can be checked online using your user ID. View our detailed renewal fee information.
You will receive a reminder email at the start of the month when your maintenance is about to expire. Please ensure your contact information, particularly your email address, is correct. To update it, simply contact sales@sparxsystems.us
After your maintenance contract expires, you can continue using the last version of Enterprise Architect without any limitations. However, to access the latest builds and receive ongoing support, you will need to extend your maintenance contract.
You can enhance your EA Edition at any time by upgrading to a higher edition. Simply pay the price difference between your current edition and the desired one.
Upgrades are only available to registered users with an active maintenance contract. If your maintenance has expired, you must renew it before upgrading.
Upgrading your edition (e.g., from Professional to Corporate) does not extend your maintenance contract.
Extending your maintenance subscription for an additional 12 months provides you with the following benefits:
Premium support and maintenance agreements are available either directly through Sparx Services North America or through Sparx Systems Partners and Resellers. If your Sparx Systems reseller partner has questions, please have them reach out to sales@sparxsystemsus.6thforce.com for assistance.

After this period, you can either continue using the last version you downloaded or renew your maintenance for an additional 12 months of updates and support.
Standard License: Assigned to a specific user or PC.
Floating License: Managed through a shared keystore. Users check out a key when they open Enterprise Architect and return it when they close the application, allowing other users to check it out. Only one user can use a key at any given time.
